Encompassing pastures, streams and woodlands, Tanglewood Park’s centerpiece is its arboretum, which features fragrance, herb, friendship and shade gardens that showcase collections of native flora. It can be found 10 miles west of Winston-Salem in Clemmons and offers overnight accommodations including rooms at the historic Manor House. The park is also home to tennis courts, a swimming pool, horse stables, biking and hiking trails, playgrounds and a rose garden with more than 800 different roses.
Open daily, 7:00 a.m. - sunset. Tennis courts open Apr to Nov; water activities open Memorial Day - Labor Day.
